 "Iron Mike" got his nickname by being a speedy, "tough as they come", defenseman, who anticipates well and has a very hard shot.  He is very strong on the puck and continuously wins battles in the corners, always willing to "hit" to set the tone of a game.  Part of his "hold that line" toughness and "no fear" strength and determination comes from his admiration of two of the best defensemen who ever played the game.  Mike's favorite hockey player is Vladimir Konstantinov because of his ability to agitate and still be an offensive threat.  He also admires Scott Stevens who always makes a game-changing hit.   

Mike is proud to have won a USA Hockey National Championship title in 2005, 3 Michigan State Championships, and for earning a Silver Stick International Championship.    

Mike is a senior at Gibraltar Carlson High School where he has received the Honor Roll Award for grades 9-11.  He has a 3.36 GPA and is taking Calculus.  Mike also enjoys golf and fishing.  His future plans include playing hockey at a Division 1 University while achieving a degree in Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation.                       Email: KimberlySisk@Comcast.Net
