Michael is a left-shooting goalie who has terrific mobility and technique.  He is known for his quick hands and confidence in the net and for how well he reads the puck.  He has incredible, cat-like reflexes, great hand-eye coordination, and tremendous agility and quickness when playing the puck.  He challenges himself every time he steps onto the ice by working to improve his anticipation, consistency, control of the puck, & response under pressure.   

Michael's favorite player is Roberto Luongo because of his skill, technique, and level of play he provides in the net in spite of team success. 

Michael recently relocated to Michigan from Pittsburgh and now attends Salem High School in Canton.  Michael maintains a 4.0 GPA and was the recipient of the National Latin Exam Award at his former high school in Pennsylvania.  He was also the 2007 & 2006 Pittsburgh Hornets "Players Player" Award recipient.  Michael also enjoys golf and baseball and spending time with his family.  
Michael is working toward his goal of being selected for the U.S. National Development Program in Ann Arbor.  He plans to attend a Division 1 college, play hockey, and pursue a degree in sports management.
