Its Monday and our event is going strong on Day 6 with our 1998 and Junior Division starting up meanwhile our 1995, 1999, 2002 and Womens and Girls Divisions are wrapping up..  There has been some great playoff and championship games throughout the morning and heading into the evening there is some more positioning that is up for grabs.  To say that the event is going well overall is an understatement.  There has been a really special feeling around the rink due to the fact that there are so many familes and players around the rink to watch their co-teams from their state compete in some exciting hockey games. I have heard many great stories around the rink that included some great moments for so many teams and have actually got a chance to leave the "office" to come downstairs into the rinks and see some great plays, moments and wins. 

As we head into the the final week of the tournament, I ask you to take a ride to the rink and enjoy yourself.  Go play,coach or officiate your games and enjoy yourself.  If your team is playing at 8am and then at 10pm, check out a game at 3pm, check out our sponsors in the lobby and just take it all in.  This tournament is a special time for all involved and I challenge you to find a better run tournament than the one going on out there.  It is a special time for all involved.  We all want to win every game we play in, but its not all about that.  It is about spending time and taking a minute to realize, wow, what a great event and I am a part of it.
