Oh what a birth year!

1995.  What a birth year that has been dominated by one team.  One team that happens to come from the state of Pennsylvania.  A team that has played at State Wars since day 1,and has compiled a record of 49-1.  As I write this blog, they are currently winning their first game of the tournament 6-0 at the half.  Pretty dominant.  But, uneasy lies the head that wears the crown.  A tough road awaits them throughout this tournament and we shall see what is in store for them.  As you could read in this years State Wars program, there was huge write up about this team and I had a chance to catch a few minutes of the first half of their first game.  One word explains that half, dominant.  Some would use the word "ridiculous" to explain their level of play, possession of the puck and pure team work. In speaking to Head Coach Andrew Kraft his comment was this "Did you watch that game??? I said, only the first half...Krafts response was: Ok good....we have to play better than that to win this tournament."  I said WHAT!!!!  Play better????

So, as we go into the afternoon and evening, we will see what is up next in this division and where the remaining teams stack up against this PA95 team.  Oh, and by the way, I forgot to mention, they were winning 6-0 at the half without one of their best players, Nick Master.....scary right?
