And so the '00, '01 and '97 playoffs are in full swing while the '96 are positioning themselves for their final round robin games throughout the rest of the day.  We have already seen games that were 0-0 into overtime, a few double overtime games,last minute comebacks and wins in overtime throughout the day. Our Awards Presentation for the 1996 Division is scheduled for 10:40pm tonight and it should be another fun filled event.  Its always exciting to see the players come out from the stands and receive their recognition not only from their own state, but their opponents as well.....Our Awards Presentation is a special part of our event which features recognition of all seeding for teams for the playoffs, Alkali Skills Competition Winners, Warrior High Scorer,Goalie Monkey Top Goaltender and Tour Best Defensive player of the division.  It also features the selection of all of the Team Honor and Team Pride  All stars which are being selected by the coaches in each division(with additional votes from our State Wars Staff) and then of course the biggeest honor, Team North America(the 10 top skaters and 2 goaltenders) of the entire 1996 division.  

With all of the action started to heat up as we speak, the battles will continue throughout the day and we expect to get you another update as the day progresses.  With all of that said, its time to check out some action on the rink!
