Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for working with the MWFL executive to ensure the league website is up to date and has appropriate content for our audience. This position is a Non-Voting position on the MWFL executive and is set for a 2-year term from election date.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiar with website management and application.
- Coding experience preferred; but not essential.
- Familiar with a variety of the League’s concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Require a strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Ability to manage multiple projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop, maintain, and update the MWFL website, including production of web content, in a manner that is appealing to targeted audience.
- Maintain a consistent look and feel throughout all web properties.
- Develop, maintain, and ensure integrity of discussion posts, such as a weblog or forum.
- Copyedit and proofread all web content.
- Responsible for assisting the MWFL executive in crafting site promotions, email newsletters, and online outreach campaigns.
- Working with the MWFL Executive, maintain and develop the master content calendar for the website.
- Assure web-based information is archived for future needs and reference.
- Work cooperatively with key team members, clients and vendors.
- Other duties, as assigned.
