Day 2 Recap:

Game 4- Friday May 22nd @ 10:00am- # 3 University of Fraser Valley Cascades win 20-10 over the Vancouver Island University Mariners.  The Cascades had 21 hits with all but one batter having at least two hits.  Cascades start Kam Sparrowhawk picks up the win with 5 innings of work.  The Mariners used 5 pitchers before the game was completed via mercy in the bottom of the 8th.   

Game 5- Friday May 22nd @ 2:00pm- # 2 Okanagan College Coyotes win 8-3 over the # 3 University of Fraser Valley Cascades.  Coyotes starter Dawson Head would go 4- 2/3rd giving up 3 runs before turning the ball over to the bullpen and Brady Augustin.  Augustin would finish the game going 4 1/3.  Cascades starter Carson Janzen would turn in 4 shutout innings before the Coyotes scored 3 in the bottom of the 5th to tie the game.  Rico Domingo had a bases loaded 2 RBI double to push the Coyotes ahead.

Game 6- Friday May 22nd @ 5:30m- # 4 Edmonton Collegiate Hawks win 11-8 over # 5 University of Calgary Dinos.  In the winners bracket the Dinos jumped out of the gate with 2 runs in the top of the first.  The Hawks answered right back in the bottom half plating 4 runs.  The Hawks would add 2 in the bottom of the 2nd, until the Dinos struck back with 3 in the top of the 4.  However, the Dinos bullpen couldn't contain the Hawks as they continued to add runs in the 5th, 6th and 8th.  Caedyn Colford paced the offence for the Hawks going 3-4 with 4 RBI.

Day 3 Schedule- May 23rd

10:00am- # 2 Okanagan College Coyotes vs # 5 University of Calgary Dinos- Elimination Game

1:00pm- # 1 Prairie Baseball Academy vs # 4 Edmonton Collegiate Hawks-  Winners Bracket-  Winner will advance to Championship Sunday

4:30pm- Winner of 10:00am game vs loser of 1:00pm game-  Elimination game, winner to championship Sunday.
