Jaydan MacPherson potted a pair of first-period goals and Cameron Nippard made 27 saves to lead the Bradford Bulls to a 5-3 win on the road against the Toronto Flyers on Saturday night.

"There were sloppy parts to our game, coming out of the holiday break, but overall our transition game looked way better," said Bulls head coach James MacLean following the win. "We are getting better, and have the ability to roll all our lines now which helps tremendously."

Anthony Marchese, Noah Bydal and Endika Fernandez also netted in the win for the Bulls (9-22-0), who opened up some critical breathing room between themselves and the Flyers (6-20-2). MacPherson has now scored four times in two games since joining the Bulls via a trade with Durham; the 2007-born forward had just one goal in 14 games as a Roadrunner, and is obviously enjoying his new environment in Bradford.

The Bulls will return home to Bob Fallis Arena for the first time in the new year on Wednesday evening, when James MacLean's group will host the Niagara Predators; puckdrop is slated for 8:00 p.m. Click here for a preview on GMHL.net.
