The Hamptons Collegiate Baseball League has seen four no-hitters in the 2025 season, with two by the Sag Harbor Whalers back in June and two no-hitters thrown in the last week by the South Shore Clippers.

CJ Forman (Adelphi) added his name to the list, tossing five no-hit innings in the Aviators’ 15-0 win over the Sag Harbor Whalers at Mashashimuet Park on Sunday.

It is the first no-hitter thrown by the Westhampton Aviators in their 16-season history in the Hamptons Collegiate Baseball League, going back to the 2009 season. The native of Middle Island only allowed two Whaler baserunners on via walks while he struck out four.

Westhampton broke the game open early, scoring seven runs in the top of the second inning. The Aviators took a 9-0 lead in the top of the third on a two-run home run from Brody Sprinkle (Azusa Pacific).

Westhampton would get another two home runs in the top of the fifth as Luke Rizzo (College of Wooster) and Grant Dalton (Lackawanna) went deep as part of a six-run fifth inning, sending Forman back on the mound looking to complete the no-hitter and mercy rule win.

Forman would work around a two-out walk to Kieran Shea (St. John’s) by getting a strikeout to give Westhampton their first no-hitter in franchise history.
