The Ontario Lacrosse Association will be entering two Provincial teams into the 2025 Canada Summer Games! The Team Ontario program has opened registration for tryouts for the two U17 Canada Summer Games Box Lacrosse teams. Players born in 2009 and 2010 may register and tryout for the Team Ontario teams. REGISTER HERE

The 2025 Canada Summer Games will take place in St. John's, Newfoundland and is a multi-sport event with 18 participating sports. The Girls Box Lacrosse tournament is August 8-16, and the Boys Box Lacrosse tournament is August 17-24.

Further Invitational Camps, Exhibition Games and Final Camps will take place in January and February, dates/locations to be announced shortly. The teams will announce their Top 24 athletes in March. These 24 athletes will practice regularly from March to June. The teams will attend the Lobster Trap tournament in Halifax, NS June 27-30, 2025, hosted by Lacrosse Nova Scotia. The Final Roster of 18 athletes for each team will be announced after this tournament. The remaining six athletes will be considered the alternates, and final pool of athletes.  If a rostered athlete is unable to fulfill their commitment to the team an alternate athlete will be called up from the final pool.

The First Nations Lacrosse Association is not participating, and we encourage OLA Indigenous athletes to tryout for the Team Ontario team!
