     The Red Hawks opened their 2024-25 Season against a strong, ACHA Division 1 opponent, William Paterson University, and the new look Red Hawks took a little while to come together.  While a regular season game, the matchup does not count towards either teams rankings being that the Pioneers play in the ACHA Division 1 and MSU is a Division 2 team.  This offered the coaching staff the ability to look at different player combinations and get all three goaltenders some game action.  MSU will have a home and home versus the University of Delaware with Friday's matchup taking place at Rust Arena in Delaware and Saturday's home opener at 8:10 pm at MSU Ice Arena.
