So far, for both the Senior and Junior Athletics, the season has had its ups and downs. Below is a brief summary of how the seasons have gone. Stay tuned to the PBL website for updates and also to our social media platforms.

Seniors

The Senior A's began the season struggling to find their groove. They would drop 3 of 4 to the Cardinals in the opening weekend and then next series against the Blue Jays would yield the same results. They would then travel to the island where this weekend trend would continue as they would drop both to a tough Eagles team and split with the Mariners. The A's offensive struggles would take a shift in the series gainst the Pirates as they would win their first series of the year taking 3 of 4. THe last two series the Seniors have played, against the Twins and Thunder, have been splits. This leaves the Sr. A's record at 10-14 after 24 games. Their next series will be makeup games against the Coquitlam Reds on Sunday June 15 and the White Rock Tritons on Monday June 17.

Juniors

New to the Junior circuit this year, the Jr's A's have struggled to find consistency. They opened the season against the always tough Langley Blaze, dropping all 4. In their second seires they would take on the Cardinals, and after losing the first game, they would finally get in the win column. They would still drop the series losing 3 of 4. Next they would travel to the island to face the Mariners and would get their first series win, winning 3 of 4 games. Next series would be against a very defensive team in the Blue Jays, who would take 3 of 4 from the Jr A's. The next two series the Jr A's would drop all games to the Twins and Chiefs and then would drop 3 more games against the Eagles before breaking up the 11-game losing streak. The Jr's record sits at 6-22, and will look to put up better efforts the rest of the season.
