Heading into the Thanksgiving Break, the Army Black Knights are currently sitting in 1st place with 10 of 12 total league games played. Clarkson, who split with the Black Knights earlier this season, are just off their pace with wins in 7 of their 10 league games and would need a little help from Marist and CCSU, as well as earn two more wins to potentially overtake Army for the top seed. Sacred Heart, who lost one game in a shootout and one in regulation to Army only has 7 total games played of 12 and would need to win out and get some help from Army's future opponents to get into that top spot. 

Siena is currently sitting in the 4th spot with 2 more games remaining against Central Connecticut and Marist. If Siena is successful in both contests, they can make a push for the 3 seed, but could not advance higher due to the head-to-head record against Clarkson. That 3rd seed is critical as they would face the lowest-seed team in the first round of the SECHL Playoffs. Marist and Montclair State have played 8 and 9 league games respectively, and are currently battling for the 5th and 6th seeds in the playoffs. Marist will need to face Montclair State, CCSU, Sacred Heart, and rival Siena in their remaining 4 league games. Montclair State has three remaining league games against Marist, Sacred Heart, and Central Connecticut State. If Montclair State can earn three wins there and Marist should win 3 of the 4 it would come down to goal differential and/or regulation wins to decide the 5 or 6 seed. 

Central Connecticut is also still very much alive in the playoff hunt and can play spoiler to both Montclair State and/or Marist. The Blue Devils have 5 SECHL league games remaining and face both Marist and Montclair State once which could upset the apple cart for either of those teams. CCSU will also face Siena, Army, and Sacred Heart and can also play spoiler to their seedings within the league.
