The Jr. Hurricanes want to congratulate forward Annabelle Kruzich and head coach Darcy Breakey for participating in the Under-18 National Championship held in Dawson Creek, BC. Each year, Ontario sends two teams (Red & Blue) to compete at Nationals. In round robin, Team Ontario Blue lost to host province Team BC 2-3, had an OT loss to Team Ontario Red 2-3 and a 4-3 win over Manitoba. Unfortunately, Team Blue lost in the quarter final game to Team Alberta 2-1. Previously, both Kruzich and Coach Breakey were apart of Team Bach at the Ontario Summer Games in 2022 where they won gold.
