The Fire U14 Girls Spring Team headed to Toledo, OH for the annual Memorial Day Challenge, hosted by USJN.  Despite being a newly formed team the girls started the tournament strong winning the first 2 games they played.  On Saturday night they faced some tough competition from a Michigan team, and despite keeping it close they eventutally lost.

Finishing 2nd in their pool they did not advance to Sunday's playoff round.  It was a great experience for the girls, and certainly boosted their confidence.  The team will head to Syracuse, NY on June 14-16 for the Syracuse Pre-Nationals.
