Milton Menace Preview: Menace at Aurora Tigers - February 25, 2023

The Milton Menace are back in action on Saturday in Aurora, where they will take on the Tigers. This is their second of three games this week.

The Menace come into this one off a 4-2 win in Stouffville on Thursday night. Connor Driscoll (2), Jared Coccimiglio, and Aidan Puley all scored for the Menace. Coccimiglio’s goal extended his point streak to six games. Lucas Buzziol also picked up two assists, while Forbes Andersen made 23 saves in the win. This was Milton’s third win in their last four games and their 30th win of the regular season.

The Menace sit in fourth in the North/West Conference with four games remaining. They have 63 points putting them one point ahead of Pickering. It will be a tight race for fourth place right until the end of the season. Their regular season record is 30-17-1-2.

Aurora is looking to return to the win column after their 3-2 loss on Friday in Burlington. They sit seventh in the North/West conference. Their record is 18-27-2-5 in 52 games played.

These teams have already met four times in the regular season, making this their final game against each other. The season series is split at two wins per side. The most recent meeting was just over two months ago, on Dec. 16, when the Tigers came out with a 4-3 victory on their home ice.

With just four Menace games remaining until the playoffs, teams are looking to hit their stride and play their best hockey of the season going into the postseason. The Menace will work to extend their win streak to three games and build on the quality hockey they’ve been playing.

Saturday’s puck drop is scheduled for 7:30 pm at Aurora Community Centre. The game will be streamed live on Hockey TV.
