2023 Raiders Golf Tournament

Three graduates of the Ontario Junior Hockey League are on the list of nominees for the 2023 Hobey Baker Memorial Award – awarded annually to the top U.S. college hockey player.
The former OJHLers are:
Ryan Tverberg - University of Connecticut (Toronto Jr. Canadiens)
Ayrton Martino - Clarkson University (St. Michael’s Buzzers)
Gianfranco Cassaro - Rochester Institute of Technology (Toronto Jr. Canadiens)
Head coaches of NCAA Division I schools nominated the top three players in their league and the top three players in the nation. The criteria against which nominees for the Hobey Baker are considered include:
Strength of character, on and off the ice
Contribution to the integrity of the team and outstanding skills in all phases of the game
Scholastic achievement and sportsmanship
Compliance with all NCAA rules, including being a full-time student in an accredited college or university and completing 50 percent or more of the season

The Top Ten list of finalists will be announced March 15 and Hobey Hat Trick finalists unveiled March 30.
The 2023 Hobey Baker Award winner will be announced from a field of three Hobey Hat Trick finalists on April 7 during the NCAA Frozen Four Championship in Tampa Bay, FL.
