The 5-foot-9 forward scored 47 goals and had 41 assists in 64 games with the Mississauga Reps U18 team last season.

The 17-year-old from Toronto was drafted fifth overall in this year’s OHL U18 draft by the Sarnia Sting.

"He's got elite level skill,” Markham Head Coach Mike Galati told OJHL writer Ron Valentine. “I coached him through minor hockey. He can score and make really good plays. He is a really big piece for our club and it will be exciting to see him develop."

Congratulations to Cole and best of luck in the OJHL and NCAA!

The OJHL, the largest Jr. A hockey league in Canada, has had more than 90 NCAA, U SPORTS, CHL and professional commitments in 2021-22 – including more than 25 NCAA Division I scholarships.
