Luca had a career year posting 26 points in 53 games – an 18-point  jump over the previous season.

He was named to the South-East roster for the 2022  OJHL All-Star Celebration.

“We are very happy for Luca,” said St. Mike’s Head Coach/GM Rich Ricci. “He’s come a long way in his three years here, culminating in an all-star selection. A strong steady workhorse, Luca was a big voice in our leadership group and he respectfully had command of the dressing room. We wish him a prosperous college career.”

Marcellitti joined the Buzzers in 2019-20 season after playing 16 games with the Wellington Dukes. The Mississauga product played previously for the Fort Erie Meteors Jr. B’s and Mississauga Senators U18 teams.

He was an assistant captain this season.

Congratulations to Luca and best of luck in the NCAA!

The OJHL, the largest Jr. A hockey league in Canada, has had more than 120 NCAA, U SPORTS, CHL and professional commitments in 2019-20 – including more than 45 NCAA Division I scholarships.
