M3 Recap - A Great Game with A Great Goalie Performace!

Date:  Source: George Mason University Ice Hockey

George Mason’s M3 hockey team played two games this weekend against WVU. GMU put up a tough fight but unfortunately was unable to procure a win. On Saturday’s game, GMU’s defense worked hard but dismally the score ended up 6-1 in West Virginia’s favor. Goal tender Brennan Dolan had an amazing game with 63 shots on goal and 57 saves. Offensively, Dan Mcauley and Joey Baker made a great duo, coming together to score GMU’s goal. Joey Baker passed the puck to Dan Mcauley who was able to snipe one past WVU’s goaltender.

Goal tender Daniel Zakula also played a great defensive game Friday night with 45 shots on goal and 34 saves.

GMU’s M3 hockey team will play again next weekend, October 8th, at home (Prince William Ice Center) @ 1:50 PM against Maryland.
