SYRACUSE, NY – The Eastern States Collegiate Hockey League has announced the details for the 2022 ESCHL Conference Tournament. The 4 team tournament will be held this Friday, February 18th & Saturday, February 19th at Ice Line Quad Rinks in West Chester, PA. Ice Line has hosted this event the past three seasons.

Stony Brook University, the University of Delaware, and the University of Rhode Island have each secured their spot in the playoff tournament. New York University and Drexel University will compete in a one-game playoff this Thursday, February 17th to determine the fourth and final seed. Each team finished the regular season with 17 points. However, NYU has not been able to compete since December 11th due to their university’s COVID-19 policies. The Violets have been given permission to continue competition this weekend and the league determined a one-game play-in would be fitting. Drexel University will host NYU on Thursday night at the Class of 1923 Arena at 8:40pm. The winner of this matchup will take on the top seeded Seawolves the following day.
