TAMPA, Fla. - The no. 1, University of Tampa Spartans and no. 12, Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University Eagles are set to do battle in the last two games of the regular season.

The no. 1 Spartans continue to roll as they are coming off their 16th and 17th straight wins against the University of Central Florida this past weekend. Spartan goaltender Vinny Salgado notched his first shutout of the year in a 3-0 win on Friday night in Orlando. Then on Senior Night Saturday, the Spartans put up 11 goals. Junior, Frank Catalina and sophomore, Ryan Andrews each netted two goals in the contest.

The no. 12, Embry-Riddle Eagles flew past Florida State University last weekend winning 7-2 and 10-3. Leading the way for the Eagles is defenseman, Jack Bokun. He is tied for a team leading 16 goals in 24 games this season with forward and captain, Ryan Marks. The last time The Spartans and Eagles played, Bokun and Marks combined for 6 points in 2 games.
