The Pioneers have improved to 18-4 since coming back from the winter break.  The team is riding a 7 game wing streak after collecting wins against Rutgers, Montclair State, Rider and sweeps of both Lehigh and Temple.

The offense has been led by leading goal scorer Adam Marvin (New City, NY), Thomas Bauer (Fords, NJ), Alex Cavaluzzo (Lake Hiawatha, NJ), Jason Lastra (Rutherford, NJ), and Austin Teats (Emerson, NJ).  Zach Thompson (Anchorage, AK) added 3 points during the month of January and Forward Nick Bucci (Piscataway, NJ) recorded 2 goals and 1 assist over the 5 game stretch while newly added forward Dan Trionfo (Towaco, NJ) recorded a goal since returning from the 2019-2020 season. 

The defense has been led by George and Thomas Boyle (North Wales, PA) and assistant captain Braden Ploehn (Pompton Plains, NJ). JP Foley (Roseland, NJ) has provided depth on the blueline over the stretch while versatile players Mike and Nick King (Oak Ridge, NJ) have also contributed to sure up the blueline. 

Goaltenders Cole Mulholland (Pompton Lakes, NJ) and Hunter Koch (Boonton, NJ) have recorded the wins during the month of January. 

The Pioneers return to action this weekend as they take on ECHA league opponent West Chester University at Ice Line Quad Rinks (Westchester, PA) on Friday night 7:00 PM and at Rutgers on Saturday afternoon 2pm at Pro Skate Arena (New Brunswick, NJ).
