SANFORD - Emmy Vitali has been named the Social Media Manager and Team Photographer for the Sanford Mainers 2022 season.

A native of Kennebunkport, Maine, Vitali is entering her junior year at Pennsylvania State University where she is majoring in telecommunications and minoring in digital media trends and analytics.

At Penn State, she is the social media director for CommRadio, the student-run campus radio station, where she oversees social media operations, including posting content, photographing campus events and the creation of compelling graphics.

Along with her role in CommRadio, she is a production assistant for Penn State Athletics, where she helps produce multi-camera streams of sporting events for GoPSUSports.com, University Streams and Big Ten Network Plus.

In 2021, she was a summer intern for Hot Radio Maine 104.7, headquartered in Scarborough, Maine where she distributed content on social media, helped organize promotional events and interacted with listeners across the state. Vitali is looking forward to telling the Sanford Mainers story through the lens of social media management and photography!
