Campoli Named Interim Head Coach

Date:  Source: OJHL Collingwood Blues

The Collingwood Blues have announced that Andrew Campoli has been named the interim Head Coach after the resignation of Rob Bentivegna. Campoli joined the Blues before the start of this season (2021-22) after he previously held the position of Head Coach with the Stouffville Spirit (OJHL).

“Andrew works daily with the Blues on and off the ice and has experience with our team behind the bench this season. In his career, he’s led an OJHL team as a Head coach and has the tools to excel in the new position” said GM Mike Tarantino.

"I’d like to start by saying thank you to Rob Bentivegna for everything he’s done for the players, the community, and the Blues organization. I truly wish him nothing but the best. I’m excited to take over as Head Coach for the Blues. We do have a dressing room full of passionate, committed and hard-working players. I look forward to continuing to try to maximize this team's abilities and overall success. Thank you to Mike Tarantino, Jordan Selinger, Dave Steele and the rest of the Blues Organization for this opportunity" expressed Coach Campoli.
