The Sanford Mainers announced Thursday morning that Christine Jarowicz will be joining the Mainers organization for the 2022 season as the team's Game-Day Operations and Volunteer Coordinator.

Jarowicz is going into her senior year at Franklin Pierce University where she is studying management, with a major in business and minor in sports and recreation. She will earn her degree in the spring of 2023, graduating Alpha Chi Honors.

She is currently playing field hockey at Division II Franklin Pierce, serving as captain for her second season. She is a part of the Leadership Academy on campus as well as currently working under the athletic administration helping with game day needs.

Jarowicz is originally from Kennebunk, Maine where she watched the Sanford Mainers and participated in their Youth Summer Baseball Camps as a child. She is excited to return to her roots and be a part of the Mainers program for her first year. She hopes to further her career and keep her love for sports as she continues in the management field, hoping to one day work under a professional program
