OJ TODAY RETURNS WITH THE NEW LOOK FOR SIXTH SEASON

November 2, 2021, Mississauga, ON – …. The OJ Today TV show returns to your phone, laptop and TV this week with a fresh new look, the Ontario Junior Hockey League announced today.

Now in its sixth season, the weekly show will focus on all things Ontario Junior Hockey League, including its 60-second spotlight, new on league graduates, Performers of the Week, Plays of the Week and much more.

The 2021-22 season of The OJ Today will include 26 shows, ending in April 2022

The new look includes new graphics that longtime viewers will immediately notice.

The show, which was launched on Rogers Television community channels, is now shown nationally on BeIN Sports and CHCH-TV as well as on YouTube and looks to do so again this season.

“The OJ Today provides an insight into not only the league and our member teams, but more importantly features some of the great players in the OJHL,” said OJHL Commissioner Marty Savoy.  “We encourage all fans and supporters to follow along each week to get caught up on all the action that takes place within the league.”

“It’s such a great feeling to be back this season doing The OJ Today,”  said veteran Canadian broadcaster Alex Bastyovanszky, the show’s producer and host. “Fans can look forward to game highlights, player and team spotlight stories, as well as up-to-date news from around the league. Additionally this season, we will have a weekly interview segment with a different OJHL alumnus who’s advanced their game to another level – whether that be college or pro. It’s felt like an eternity since our last show was broadcast back in March of 2020, and we’re pumped to get going.”
