The Knights played two games against the Gators last weekend coming up short in both games before another raucous crowd of "Knaugthy Knights."

.

Friday night the high powered Gator offense scored 4 in the first period and went on to comfortably take game 1 at RDV.  Despite the efforts of Nathan Shield in net, the Knights were unable to slow the powerful predators from Gainesville.

Saturday evening was another story as the Knights played very well behind the stellar goaltending of Vincenzo Sanfillippo getting his first collegiate start.  The Knights found themselves down 4-1 but the "never give up attitude Knights" mounted a terrific comeback against the Gators closing the game to 4-3 lead late in the game.  Riding the wings of Matthew Scribner who scored 3 consecutive goals for the natural hat trick, the Knights were knocking on the doorstep before the Gators netted a late one to take the game 5-3.

The team is working hard, improved drastically since their opening weekend, and looking for  successful on the road the next two weekends.

This week the  boys travel to Kennesaw State for a two game series with the Owls.  Friday night puck drop is 9:45pm and Saturday night is 8:45pm.
