After coming up short Friday night in Tampa, the Frozen War on I-4 continued before a raucous sold out crowd at RDV Sportsplex!

Much like Friday night's clash, it was a well played closely contested game between these two bitter rivals.  The game featured terrific goaltending, great play, and hard hitting action you've come to expect in this series.

The Bulls took a 1-0 lead in the first period capitalizing on a 5 minute major penalty on the Knights.  In the second period, Corey Altieri picked up a loose puck behind the bet came out in front and scored blocker side to tie the game at 1.  The score remained tied until the Knights capitalized on a power play opportunity when Max Weinstock scored with 2:32 left in regulation.  An already electric crowd then erupted and the team used that energy to stop the Running of the Bulls.  The Knights earned a hard fought victory preserving their first win of the season and first for Head Coach Anthony Mariani.

This week the team prepares for two home games (Friday night - Saturday night) against the much improved Florida Gators.  Both games start at 9pm.  Admission is $10 adults, kids under 10 free, and UCF students free!
