Collingwood Blues (OJHL) Charlie Fink & Liam Sztuska have signed with OHL teams for the 2021-22 season.

Forward Charlie Fink has signed with the Saginaw Spirit (OHL). “My time in Collingwood couldn’t have been better. I would not be signing in to the OHL without the support and motivation from my teammates and coaches. Out of all the places you could play in junior A, I think Collingwood not only as an organization but as an experience is the best in Ontario. Despite not having much of a season, my first year playing Junior couldn’t have been better.

“Charlie is physically built for the OHL. He has the frame, speed, and shot to slot in perfectly at that level. His work ethic is his best attribute, and I’m confident the Saginaw staff will see that in him and help him to progress forward in his hockey career, said Blues Head Coach Rob Bentivegna.

The Peterborough Petes (OHL) have signed Goaltender Liam Sztuska. “It was a pleasure to play for Collingwood for the time I was there. Would like to thank the players and coaching staff for taking me in, making me a better goalie and person as well, and my billets Alessandro and Kristina for welcoming me into their home and making me feel like I’m at home. Thank you again Collingwood for everything.”

“Liam has been an elite goaltender since the first time I laid eyes on him. He is a very technical goalie who uses quick and efficient movements to stop the puck. The higher quality shots he is facing, the better he plays. With continued hard work, I see Liam being the starting goalie for the Pete’s sooner rather than later,” expressed Head Coach Rob Bentivegna.
