DICKINSON, ND- The Badlands Big Sticks welcome right-handed pitcher, Parker Stohr, back for the 2021 season.

Stohr is a senior at Mayville State University and is originally from Yakima, WA.

“I loved playing for the Big Sticks last summer and can’t wait to get back to Dickinson this summer,” stated Stohr. “Our fans were amazing and the atmosphere at the ballpark is second to none.”

So far in the 2021 Comet season, Parker has a 2-0 record and has tossed 16.2 innings recording 30 strikeouts. Stohr was named NSAA Pitcher of the Week in week two.

In Parker’s career at MSU, he has tallied 59 innings pitched with 81 strikeouts and a career EAR of 2.75.

During Stohr’s first season with the Big Sticks in 2020, he finished with an ERA of 2.18 in 12.1 innings pitched with 15 strikeouts.

“Parker is a big dude with a big arm,” said Big Sticks Owner Dave Ouellette. “It is fun to watch him light up the radar gun. We are excited to have him back this summer.”

The Badlands Big Sticks kick off the 2021 season at home on Tuesday, May 25th when they host the Spearfish Sasquatch.

Game times have changed for the 2021 season as all home games Monday through Saturday will now start at 6:05 PM while Sunday games will continue to start at 4:35 PM.

Single game tickets will go on-sale May 15th.

The 2021 promotional schedule is in progress and will be released when completed.
