The Collingwood Blues are excited to announce that Andrew Campoli is joining the Collingwood Blues as an Associate Coach effective immediately.
Andrew joins the Blues after serving as the Head Coach of the Stouffville Spirit. “I’m very excited to be joining the Collingwood Blues organization and working with such a passionate group devoted to the success and development of our players. After meeting with the ownership and management group and seeing their vision, there is no doubt in my mind that we will be a hardworking and devoted team not only on the ice but in our community as well. I’m really looking forward to getting back on the ice and getting started” said Campoli.
Andrew is a native of Oak Ridges, Ontario and grew up playing hockey in the MTHL/GTHL for various teams. Andrew has 15 years of experience behind the bench and has spent the last 6 years in the OJHL. Andrew is passionate about developing and implementing culture players and management believe in. He strives to ensure everyone understands that team success leads to individual success both on and off the ice. When he isn’t in the rink you can find him on the golf course or hiking with his dog Bourbon.
"We are excited to add Andrew to our coaching staff. Andrew has a proven track record in minor hockey and the OJHL most recently serving as the Head Coach of the Stouffville Spirit. Stouffville was arguably the most improved club in the OJHL last season. Andrew's passion, leadership, and ability to develop players on and off the ice are some of the assets he will bring to our team. The Blues staff and players are excited to have Andrew join our staff in our quest to bring a Championship to Collingwood" said Collingwood Blues GM Mike Tarantino.
