“After being behind the bench for more than 25 years it was time to retire the whistle. When the opportunity came up to be the Assistant Director of Hockey Operations, and a chance to work alongside Jordan and Mike I knew this was right for me. I am excited to get going in my new role with the Collingwood Blues. I want to thank everyone in the blues organization who made this happen” said Ricca on transitioning to a new position with the Collingwood Blues. 

Director of Hockey Operations Jordan Selinger shared his experience working with Nick during his tenure with the Blues “In the short time that we have had to work together, Nick has been an absolute pleasure and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the table. When he indicated that he would like to stay with the club in some capacity, it was a no-brainer for our staff. I look forward to having Nick work closely with Mike, myself and the rest of our staff in an effort to bring championships to the Town of Collingwood.”
