Originally from Wilmington, Delaware, Wayne attended the University of Maryland(NCAA DI) and was drafted by the Los Angeles Dodgers in the 36th round in 1996. 

The 6'2 LHP is a 7-year Major League Baseball veteran for Houston, Milwaukee, San Francisco, New York(NYY) & Atlanta.

Currently, Wayne is the Pitching Coach(2nd year) at Menlo College (Atherton, CA).

He also was the Head Coach for the San Diego Jets in the San Diego League (Summer Collegiate) 2019 & 2020; league champion in 2019.

Favorite part about coaching in the DCL: "I always loved Wisconsin, and I always loved the Brewers’ fans. So happy for the organization’s recent success. But, now, my new passion is teaching the game to young players; and, I can’t wait to get started with the 94’s."
