Originally from Gibson City, Illinois, Jake Brewer has been named the assistant coach for the Lakeside Beach Bums. He will also assist with the leagues strength and conditioning. Currently, a 6'2 215 lb catcher at Monmouth College in Monmouth, Illinois, Jake catches for the fighting Scots. He will graduate this May with a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and a minor in Business Administration. Prior to Monmouth College, he earned his associates degree while playing baseball at Prince George's Community College in Largo, Maryland.
