Trenton Golden Hawks Head Coach/GM Peter Goulet says, "No matter what happens with hockey, I need to have the best in mind for these young men."

He spoke on the heels of the latest team moves, which sent Brannon Butler out west, and Julien Jacob to the east coast.

Jacob was acquired by the Grand Falls (New Brunswick) Rapids of the Maritime Junior Hockey League (MHL)

In 2019-20 Jacob had 19 points off the back end for the GHawks, and 4 points in exhibition play this year for Trenton.

Goulet says, "We wish nothing for the best for Jacob in the remainder of play this year, as he continues his development on and off the ice."

Butler meantime is off to Grand Prairie Alberta, where he will join the Storm of the AJHL. Trenton acquired Butler in the off season from the Cobourg Cougars.

"We have made an acquisition with this trade. Johnny Howie, an Ottawa area native, comes back to Trenton. He is a 6'3/195 pound 19-year old, and we are looking forward to having him hit the ice at the Dunc."

Last week, Trenton announced they were sending Griffen Fox, Stefan Dobrich, Marko Jakovljevic, and Kyle Robinson to the MHL, with Wyatt George going to the Walpole Express in Massachusetts.
