The Collingwood Blues have traded Captain Patrick Brown to the Fredricton Red Wings (MHL).

GM Mike Tarantino had this to say about the trade, "Given the uncertainty of our season starting, and Patrick being in his last year, we wanted to do what we felt was right in terms of allowing Patrick to play in a hockey season. The Maritimes have far fewer Covid cases, and at the time of this trade, are playing contact hockey and have started their regular season. Patrick is a local kid and I know the decision to leave the Blues was a difficult one for him. He is looking to attend University after this year and I believe is leaning towards attending a school on the east coast.  The Blues would like to wish Patrick all the best in all of his future endeavours"
