Josh Swinehart is native of Mattawan, Michigan where he enjoyed an outstanding prep career at Mattawan High School. It was there that Josh hit .413 which included 13 doubles, 24 runs scored, and 36 runs batted while being a key figure in leading Mattawan High School to a 23-13 record as a senior. His performance earned him recognition on both the All-District and All-Conference Teams. That season followed a successful junior campaign that saw the 6’3” 201 lb. corner infielder hit .429 and awarded with a place on the Michigan High School Coaches’ Association All-State Team.
The son of Kurt and Wendy Swinehart, Josh comes from an athletic family. His mother Wendy played softball at Western Michigan University while sisters Mackenzie and Jordy are current members of the Bronco Softball Team.
We are excited that Josh has agreed to join the Clippers for the 2020 season and are certain that Clippers’ fans will enjoy watching this young man perform. Welcome to Muskegon Josh!
