Baggin' For Bears Cornhole Tourney

Before the Thanksgiving holiday, the Colonial had a staked weekend of games with most teams going against one-another for points in the standings.
The teams at the top, while thankful for the results so far, had a mixed bag of results last week. The University of Pennsylvania picked up a big win over Scranton, splitting the fall series, but also received the news that its win against TCNJ from Nov. 16 would be ruled a forfeit due to an undisclosed violation. Meanwhile, Scranton itself lost both its conference and non-CSCHC games and TCNJ dealt with fierce competition on the road.
For teams like Princeton, the results on the ice may vary but the atmosphere and brotherhood is still strong. The Tigers currently sit at 10th on the CSCHC table with only two points but head coach Colin McCollough knows it's a part of the game.
“We are having a very good year as measured by the locker room atmosphere and bus ride banter to and from the games,” McCollough said in an email. “For our team, academics come first. And studying is what our players do, so if it comes to deciding between hockey and writing a term paper they have to write the term paper. It's that simple.”
In the same vein Seton Hall continues to play hard and fight in the middle of the standings. The team split its games in Week 11 against conference opponents. After getting shut out on Friday, the group rebounded the next night against Monmouth scoring while short-handed and took advantage of power plays with a standout performance by first year player Nick Serapiglia.
In the most recent ACHA Southeast Rankings, UPenn stuck close to the Top 10 while others shifted around:
University of Pennsylvania - #11
Rutgers University - #24
Millersville University - #28
Seton Hall University - #29
*Schools not listed are recorded as “Not in Good Standing” with the ACHA
