Two Ontario Junior Hockey League (OJHL) players have been named to the updated 'Players to Watch List' released by the Central Scouting department of the National Hockey League Monday.

Ryan Alexander of the St. Michael’s Buzzer and Ryan Tverberg of the Toronto Jr. Canadiens received 'C' ratings, listing them as possible fourth, fifth or sixth round draft choices at the 2020 NHL Draft, which will be held in June at the Bell Centre in Montreal. Both are centres on Toronto-based teams playing in the South Division of the OJHL.

In his first full season with the Canadiens, Tverberg has 31 points (16 goals/15 assists) in 24 games. Last year, he played nine games with the OJHL team as an affiliate from the Canadiens midgets. Now 17, he was a 12th-round pick of the Hamilton Bulldogs in the 2018 Ontario Hockey League draft.

Alexander had 45 points in 52 games as a rookie with the Buzzers last season. The Arizona State commit has 34 points (10 goals/24 assists) in 23 games this year. The 17-year-old was selected by the Erie Otters in the third round of the 2018 OHL draft.

In the first edition of the list, Burlington Cougars defenceman Brendan Kennette received a 'C' rating. Kennette was among players named in the second installment of the 2020 list. The first list was released Oct. 8 and can be seen HERE

There are 11 players from Canadian Junior Hockey League teams on the list. The list is updated throughout the season.
