CHOICE League Food & Fund Drive

November 10 – 24, 2019

To all Minnesota Made Hockey Choice League participants:

We are teaming up with Second Harvest Heartland again this season for a Food & Fund Drive for the Thanksgiving Holiday.

Our first year we collected 500#

Last season we collected over 550# - let’s do it again!

Contributions will help ensure that hungry children, families and seniors in our communities get the food they need.

Some items needed are:

• Canned meat, tuna, salmon or chicken
• Peanut Butter
• Cereal or Oatmeal
• Canned Fruits or Vegetables
• Gluten–Free, Low Sodium and Low Sugar Items
• NO glass containers, NO expired items, NO previously opened items                 

Our Goal is to collect 500+ pounds as a group.

We will have collection boxes in the Minnesota Made Ice Center lobby for you to drop off your food items. (Our NE teams can bring donations to the Edina rink when your team has a game in Edina)

Mark your bagged items with your team name ~ We will be having a drawing for a team party (valued at $150) at 1st Athlete.

1st Athlete is the ULTIMATE location for your next party. The package includes one hour of instructor-led games and activities followed by a half hour in our gathering area to eat and celebrate. The facility has bathrooms, water fountains, and a fridge and freezer for your use. Your team can even pick the music! Parties are only $150 and include a FREE 1st Athlete T-Shirt!

Cash/Check donations are also accepted.  Please put your donation in an envelope with your name, address and email address (include your team name) in the drop box by the Minnesota Made Ice Center office. Checks should be made payable to: Second Harvest Heartland.
