The Leamington Flyers came back in a big way to win at home in overtime on Thursday against the LaSalle Vipers.

Dylan Montie scored his first GOJHL goal to open the scoring in the first period, but after two periods the Vipers led by two.

Jaydon Fetter made a stunning effort and scored two goals in the last three minutes of the final period to tie the game and take the team into overtime. As the clock wound down in OT, Kade McKibbin sped towards the net and fired a shot into the top left corner to make sure his team remains undefeated at home.

The Flyers play again tonight in St. Mary’s. Their next home game is Thursday, October 3 against the St. Thomas Stars.
