WEEK 17 STATS & SCORES

Date:  Source: Center Court League

MONEYBALL 93 vs. Flames 80
ECB 70 vs. Beauties 59
SPARTANS 91 vs. Thunder 50
WARRIORS 98 vs. Knicks 69

Moneyball used a barrage of threes to maintain a lead over the Flames who wouldn't go away in this game.   But 17 threes is a lot of extra points to make up.   What the Flames are winning this year is the Dunk Game.  Moneyball scattered in the second half as Mike Poole came down the lane and hammered home a dunk..... so you decide who won this game, the team who scored 93 or the team with dunk of the year candidate??? PS:  Devin Norris dropped 8 threes and had 37 for Moneyball. Mike Poole and Trevor G had 21 each for Flames.

Danny Cain had 33 to pace the Beauties but the Blues simply had too much size and pulled away in the second half to win by 11.   Kenny Duncan had 15 for the Blues.

Nate Anderson didn't want to be outdone by Devin's earlier performance so he also dropped 8 threes for the Warriors, but also went for 42 in the game as the Warriors ran away with this one scoring 98 in the game.

The second - third place Thunder-Spartans matchup didn't quite live up to the hype tonight....  After a lot of "Who Needs Elliot, Jay or Bell" talk before the game, the Thunder were a littttttttle slow out of the gates going down 34-6 over the first 17 minutes and had a tough time climbing out of that hole.   But hey, they set a goal of reaching 50 and as Ben Davis dropped a three at the buzzer that was another baby step goal to add to their team Facebook page to live on forever.  PS: After their own slow start, Spartans ball movement was finding open cutters everywhere, they scored 91 in the game and 3 or more players topped 20.....
