Hespeler switching divisions

Going into game three of this fairly equally matchup The Lakeshore Canadiens knew they had to win a crucial game three at home and not want t return to Dresden down 2-1 in the series.
But it was Brendan Soto’s power-play goal midway through the third period Friday evening that would give the home town Canadiens the victory and lead in the series.
Both teams came out with tight checking and hard hitting to keep each team at bay through out the contest.
It was the Jr. Kings who drew first blood on a Greg Hay tally just under 5 -minutes into the first period before the Canadiens Nathan Skully would tie it 1-1 just two minutes later.
The Jr. Kings found the edge before the first period buzzer rang out when Elijah Duquette scored send the Kings to the dressing room up 2-1.
The Canadiens would battle back to tie it and take the eventually lead on goals by Blake Bain and Skully’s second, but couldn’t hold on to the tight 3-2 margin as Dresden’s Geoffrey Vandenboorn would even it up again midway through third making 3-3 setting the exciting third period showdown with Lakeshore walking away with the win in Soto’s tally.
Game 4 goes Sunday evening at 7:30pm in Dresden.
