Thunder AAA players move up to NAHL

Total Package Hockey is proud to congratulate the latest batch of Thunder AAA players moving up to the North American Hockey League to take the next step in their hockey careers.

These players are just some of the Thunder products finding success at the next level:

Brendan Ogle

Ogle was called up from the Thunder 18U team to the Chippewa Steel for the rest of the 2018-19 season. Ogle has played six years for the Thunder, helping the 2001 birth-year group reach the USA Hockey National Championships in the 2015-2016 season. He has served as a captain for three of his six Thunder campaigns. Ogle was also attending the TPH Center of Excellence in Atlanta.

Braiden Dorfman

Dorfman played seven seasons for the Thunder AAA Hockey Club, including one season with the 18U team. He has also joined the Chippewa Steel for the rest of the 2018-19 season. Dorfman went to Nationals in the 2014-2015 season, and he spent one year at RISE Prep in Nashville - powered by TPH.

Trevor Russell

Russell has tendered with the Aberdeen Wings, while he is in the midst of his fifth season with the Thunder AAA Hockey Club. He is currently skating with the 18U team, serving as an assistant captain for his Thunder squad. Russell also attended the TPH Center of Excellence in Atlanta.

Davis Goukler

Goukler has spent most of the season with the Shreveport Mudbugs after playing seven seasons with the Thunder. A two-year TPH Atlanta Center of Excellence alum, Goukler was an assistant captain in 2017-18 after wearing the ‘C’ in 2016-17.

Marquez Ginger

Ginger has been called up by the Brookings Blizzard after starting the season with the Willmar Warhawks of the NA3HL. Ginger graduated out of the Thunder AAA Hockey Club last season after four strong season – he also served as a captain. Ginger is an alum of the TPH Center of Excellence in Atlanta, as well, after spending two seasons there as a student-athlete.

Noah Henry

Henry has tendered with the Aberdeen Wings, after playing four seasons with the Thunder AAA Hockey Club. He has served as a captain, and he played in USA Hockey’s nationals with the club in the 2015-2016 season.
