Junior was asked to handle a significant amount of work last summer, as a couple injuries happened throughout the season he was asked to play multiple positions including catcher.  He's been a leader for our organization over the years, which we know he'll be again in 2019. 

Jr will be one of the Captains for the Reds in 2019. Coming off an incredible 2018 season where he was our Gold Glove winner playing a stellar 2nd base. He was also our first half MVP doing everything right both on offense and defense.

He plays the game the right way and finds ways to help the team win. The total package when it comes to being a team player and leader
