MONEYBALL 90 vs. Spartans 65
WARRIORS 58 vs. EC Blues 41
FLAMES 73 vs. Beauties 57
THUNDER 100 vs. Knicks 88

In the Re-Re-match of last years finals, the Spartans kept it close until a 10 minute stretch of the second half where Devin Norris and John Morash hit 9 threes combined during the stretch to blow it open.  Devin hit eight threes in the game on his way to 30 points to lead Moneyball to 8 straight wins pre-Xmas.   Neither team in the Warriors/ Blues matchup was exactly hot as the first half ended 24-21, but the Warriors had the better second half and pulled head by double digits late.  Mike Olsen scored 19 for the Warriors.  The Flames beat the Beauties in the second battle of the new teams as Mike Poole went for 29.   And finally, the Thunder and Knicks was quite a game.  Despite Bell and Elliot doing their thing scoring for the Thunder and the Knicks looking at a 20 point deficit at the half, Marcus Jamieson and Aaron Colman drilled threes in the second half and the Knicks fought back to keep it a single digits game over the final 15 minutes, twice having  a chance to get it to 5 late.   But the Thunder had enough to get the W and keep pace with Moneyball in the standings.

As we go into the break Moneyball is undefeated in first place, and the Thunder have only lost to Moneyball all season as they sit in second.  The Knicks hold onto 3rd at 5-3 and then there is a big logjam of teams.
