Capital City Reds Release Fall Schedule and Dallas, TX Tri...
Date: Aug 28, 2019

Capital City Reds Baseball Club will be entering their 5th season as an organization, and for the past 4 years they've focused on Summer Collegiate Baseball.
Capital City Baseball Academy is completing their 1st year as a business, but have played for, coached and assisted with player development previously for Capital City Reds.
This partnership brings together a very strong baseball brand within the Ottawa community, plus a rising baseball academy. Ottawa has been overdue for a Travel Team that promotes player development both on and off the diamond, which both CCR and CCBA recognized, so they've teamed up for the 2019 Season. Capital City Reds will be expanding their brand of baseball, while Capital City Baseball Academy will be coaching the players.
President and Head Coach Roch Seguin said "Our coaching staff and front office have been reviewing the potential opportunity of expansion for a while now, but we wanted to ensure that we built our brand first. This is a banner year for our organization as we celebrate our 5th year anniversary, so I couldn't think of a better time to expand!"
General Manager Ian Dufton elaborated "The main goal I had when taking on this role was to expand our organization, which we were very close to achieving last year, however it wasn't the right time. After long discussions between both of our organizations; we felt that both of us were in a position to introduce a 17U program that will be successful, plus provide local youth additional opportunities to continue their education as a student/athlete."
As they continue to move forward throughout the off-season; one thing has become very clear Capital City Reds Baseball Club is going to around for a long time in Ottawa, and there's no indication they're slowing down any time soon!
