Friday Night, Wellesley visited Tavistock for the first of two games this weekend. The Applejacks opened the scoring just 29 seconds into the game however the Braves would storm back to score 5 unanswered goals to secure the 5-1 win. Scoring for Tavistock was Zac Berg, Ryan Donat, Drew Gerth, Tanner Johnson and Matt Walsh. Jensen Van Boekel made 28 saves in the win.
On Saturday the scene shifted to Wellesley for the second half of the home and home weekend. The Braves power play stayed hot as they scored three more goals with the man advantage and Jensen Van Boekel came up big in net making 37 saves in the 6-3 win. Leading the way scoring was Cole Corriveau (2G, 1A) and Zac Berg (1G, 3A). Drew Gerth, Tanner Johnson and Mackinnon Hawkins also scored for Tavistock.
The Braves have two home games this weekend. Friday Nov 30th they will take on the Woodstock Navy Vets and Saturday Dec 1st they will take on the Burford Bulldogs. Both games set for 7:30PM puck drops.
