Kings come back from early 2-goal deficit for 4-2 win.

Komoka Kings come back with 4 straight goals after spotting the St Marys Lincolns an early 2 goal lead to win 4-2 on Saturday night at the Komoka Wellness Centre. 

St Marys scored at 4:10 and 10:50 of the first period in a fast paced start by both teams. Midway in the second Jacob Rochford scored his 8th of the season on a power play assisted by Blake McConnell-Barker and Joel Mazzilli to put the Kings on the board. At 15:23 Kings Blake McConnell-Barker notched his 8th of the season on a power play assisted by Joel Mazzilli and D'Arcy Panziera to tie the score at 2-2.  Late in the period on another St Mary's penalty Joel Mazzilli scored his 14th of the season to give the Kings a 3-2 lead, assisted by Chase Strychaluk and Liam Whittaker.  Komoka out shot the Lincolns 17-9 in the second period.

The third period was a tight back and forth with the Lincolns having some good chances at Kings netminder Nathan Young who faced 21 shots overall.  Unable to pull their goalie late in the period due to Kings tight fore-checking the Lincolns gave up a late goal at 19:44 on a tally by Cameron Welch, his first as a King, with assists from Luc Arsenault and D'Arcy Panziera - 4-2 Kings victory!.

Luc Arsenault played a strong 2-way game earning the 1st star of the game, Joel Mazzilli with 1 goal and 2 assists was 2nd star, and Blake McConnell-Barker with a goal and assist the 3rd star.  Honourable mentions to D'Arcy Panziera.
